Ink & watercolor. Maybe a tad of acrylic, January ‘12. My illustration side has been slow of late because I’m art directing a film right now, but filming is almost wrapped so things will shift back soon.
Q: Is your tumblr for art or is it a personal blog as well? A: Just for art.
Q: How often do you post art? A: I aim for once to twice a week, it just depends on what’s going on.
Q: Do you post your drawing process or only finished works? A: Mostly finished works but occasionally some in process things and sketches.
Q: What types of mediums do you use? A: A lot of them! I work primarily in acrylic, ink and collage. Watercolor and digital also turn up. Also some pure pen drawings. I’m a lover of ink, I do most of my sketching in pen. I’m pretty laissez-faire about media.
Q: Describe your art style. A: Dreamy? I work very painterly but my work tends toward stylized and draws on more childlike, comic, and fashion influences. I make ‘pretty’ art though often with more serious undertones.
Q: Do you have any additional comments? A: Uh, I’m all graduated with a BFA in Illustration and working freelance. I also work in film, so sometimes I get behind updating if rl work is heavy. Though I’m much better than I used to be!
My listing at Artist’s Directory! Excited to see it go up & welcome to the new followers! I’ve got some new things I’ve been working on that’ll go up this week. Stay tuned….
Sold this bunch at the MCAD Annual Art Sale, very thankful to those who bought. It’s always hard to predict what sells, so doing a round up afterwards is enlightening. I have to double check my inventory but I think this is all.
